When we overeat or eat processed or fried foods, the liver becomes overworked and overloaded and we start to feel like crap! Know that feeling? When the liver is taxed, it can’t process toxins and fat in an efficient way, so we want to support our liver with as many leafy greens as we can that help cleanse the liver naturally by stimulating its natural ability to clean toxic waste from the body.

One of our most powerful allies in cleansing the liver, leafy greens can be eaten raw, cooked, or juiced. Extremely high in plant chlorophylls, greens suck up environmental toxins from the blood stream…..well that’s good ay!

In this picture I have made a vegetable stir-fry from finely chopped cauliflower, onion, garlic, broccoli, and courgettes, and left over cooked salmon. I used coconut oil to gently cook the vegetables then just added some Tamari for flavour! Served with those healthy leafy greens for my liver!

    Hey Lisa, It's yummy alright, I mixed fresh aioli with garlic infused avocado oil and lemon juice...nom nom nom!
